Learning and Development Director

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a luxury organisation within the hospitality sector. Our client is looking to hire a Learning and Development Director to join their team.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of HR, you will lead performance management and appraisals for employees across all levels within the business. You will also manage and improve existing training courses whilst implementing new courses where necessary. In addition, you will set KPIs across the company as well as manage a team of 2 Managers, 3 Assistant Managers, 1 Intern, 1 Management Trainee and 1 Administration Officer.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have experience at Director Level. You should have a strong background in a L and D and training role ideally within the hospitality or retail sector. You should be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. It is essential you have excellent leadership and English communication skills.
