Employment: Full Time

Job Summary:
As the Learning & Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in improving our operational excellence by managing and enhancing training programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, conducting audits, delivering soft skills training, and overseeing our learning platform, My Learning Zone. Additionally, you will collaborate with department heads and HQ Global Training to localize and create training content tailored to Alpha Flight Services.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Training:
• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for various operational departments, such as Operations, Production, Housekeeping & F & B.
• Collaborate closely with department heads to identify specific training needs and develop customized training solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making continuous improvements.

Compliance and Audits:
• Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to flight catering operations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure training compliance in line with local and HQ standards.
• Develop and maintain audit checklists, working with departments to address training compliance issues.

Soft Skills Training:
• Deliver soft skills training to various departments, including Food & Beverage (F&B) and others, to enhance interpersonal and communication skills.
• Collaborate with department heads to assess soft skills training needs and develop customized modules.

Learning Agenda and Training Calendar:
• Drive the organization's learning agenda by identifying training priorities and areas for skill development.
• Develop a comprehensive training calendar aligning with the organization's goals and needs.
• Coordinate and schedule training sessions and workshops in collaboration with department heads.

Content Development:
• Create and localize training content specific to Alpha Flight Services, ensuring it meets company requirements and objectives.
• Adapt and customize global training content to suit Alpha Flight Services' unique needs and culture.

My Learning Zone Management:
• Oversee, Administer and manage the My Learning Zone platform, including updation, user management, and reporting.
• Provide technical support and training to employees using the platform.

Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, compliance reports, audit findings, and soft skills training outcomes.
• Generate comprehensive reports to track training progress, compliance status, and the effectiveness of soft skills training.
• Share insights and recommendations with management to drive improvements.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Insurances, Ticket and Meals provided by the company

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Training & Development, Hospitality Management).
• Proven experience in instructional design, training facilitation, compliance management, and soft skills training, preferably in the aviation or hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with learning management systems.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, and soft skills development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
