Learning & Development Consultant - Al Futtaim Group HR - Dubai, UAE


The primary responsibilities of the Learning & Development Consultant is to diagnose learning needs, identify appropriate solutions and develop strategic learning plans and frameworks to reflect best practice and facilitate the achievement of business goals in partnership with our clients and internal stakeholders.

The job role will involve researching and proposing blended training solutions, assessing career pathways in line with development and recommend high potential individuals, drive Emiratisation development pathways and traineeships, deliver the core curriculum, training calendar and customised programs as scheduled.

Industry and government regulatory standards will be adhered to in conjunction with the Al Futtaim Group standards. You will also manage internal & external customer expectations especially in regards to assessment practices & reporting, consult with businesses to provide solutions and options, measuring customer satisfaction, prepare proposals & quotations in line with business plan objectives (increase revenues, provide access, support performance, increase commercial outcomes), work inclusively with HR Business Partners, business trainers, Line Managers and Executives to deliver to gain agreement, share workloads and meet expectations

A critical part of this role is to accurately measure reults to assess ROI and ensure there is added value and gain buy in and approvals. You should have sound business accumen and a strong commercial background to build credibility when liaising with the senior management.

The L&D Consultant will ensure that all AFG businesses and key stakeholders are aware of the AFTC products & Services, utilise tools and resources that will discover training needs or assess capability standards, maximise opportunities to communicate Group HR & AFTC achievements, initiatives and projects, manage & Analyse the Learning & Development performance, collate and report AFTC performance metrics and ensure project KPI's are met and exceeded.

Requirements

This is an important role that is critical for the Al Futtaim Group to succeed in it's mission to be committed to developing employees through learning and development and providing opportunities for career growth within the Group, therefore we are looking for only the best person to join the team.

To be successful in applying for this role the following criteria must be met; a CIPD or ASTD qualification coupled with a minimum of 3 -5 years' experience in the Learning & Development field. Experience of designing and delivering a wide range of trainings, program facilitation experience and project management, business operations or a customer service background will be prefered.

This is a consultative role so candidates should have excellent communication skills at all levels with a sound business accumen and commercial awareness.
