Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To scope, design and implement a wide range of learning and development and HRM initiatives for the company, including Talent, Development and Engagement.

Working closely with the business leaders, the Human Resources team and the Executive Director HR to shape the development of the People Plan, ensuring that key initiatives are delivered in line with our core values and business plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy
- To develop inspirational, commercial solutions which will add value and deliver improvement against clear measurable criteria.
- To ensure that all training links to the 4 core elements of the Outperformance strategy – Entrepreneurial Thinking, Employee driven development, experiential career path and Empowered Leadership

Learning and Development
- Continuously develop our suite of tools for training needs analysis using industry standard practice
- Manage the outputs of the TNS’s to identify and prioritise the application of appropriate interventions
- Write, implement and deliver a variety of training modules for delivery in varied training intervention formats – distance learning, classroom based learning, e-learning train the trainer and supported external development
- Provision of all associated training materials relating to the function e.g. induction, technical training, soft skills and colleague career development.
- Coordinate and monitor external training programmes; liaise with the providers, input on design and monitor feedback
- Coordinate LSI sessions for senior management
- Provision of all associated training and materials relating to specific functions, (e.g. technical training and professional study)
- Continuous development of the L&D intranet sites, providing user friendly and relevant development tools
- Management , monitoring and interpretation of all results and scores from L&D/Training interventions
- Use feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in content and delivery.
- Management of all training records ensuring accuracy
- Alignment of results against business KPI’s
- Provide timely and accurate information for inclusion into board reports
- Reporting of effectiveness for all training interventions – proving clear ROI and how they add value

Talent
- Integrate 9 box talent management model within the company
- To support and develop strategic talent management, working closely with the senior management team to ensure talent is identified and developed, at all levels, to create a future pipeline of successors throughout the business
- Liaise with colleagues across BM group to develop a global view on talent management enabling global mobility of high performers

Reward
- Manage the annual salary and bonus review process for senior management, making recommendations of package structures and increases, in line with companywide processes.
- Provide advice to senior managers on salary management, to ensure equal pay standards are achieved across the whole business.

Recruitment
- Lead on the recruitment of senior level individual to the business via direct methods where possible
- Utilisation of current recruitment tools such as LinkedIn
- Management of ATR system ‘Springboard’ ensuring that candidates are managed through the system
- Work with senior management to ensure effective workforce planning across the selected employee group
- Liaise with recruitment agencies where necessary, ensuring commercial beneficial terms
- Implement effective on-boarding processes.

General
- Support the wider HR team in the management of the People Agenda projects as requested
- Continuously seek improvements to working practices with a view to increasing efficiency, productivity and effectiveness.
- Support of the delivery and management of Workday HRIS

Requirements

Personality:
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on providing a commercially focused. high quality service to all internal customers. A natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing and communicating at all levels. Reliable, tolerant, and determined, an empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view. Well presented and businesslike.

Personal Situation:
Must have a mature outlook and able to spend nights away from home as required. Must be able to commute reliably to the office base and to remote locations and able to work extended hours as and when required.

- Hold an HR/L+D qualification or degree (e.g. CIPD)
- Previous experience of working at a similar level in a multisite organisation delivering commercially focussed L+D Solutions
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- A professional and commercial approach to HR, flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the business
- Experience in working within a generalist role
- Confidence and strength of character to persuade and put changes in place
- Previous experience of Managing and developing an e-learning platform
- Ability to adapt manner to deal with employees and mediate at all levels including senior management up to board level
- Driven and motivated by the desire to improve systems to and contribute to improved company performance
- Computer literate in all Microsoft packages
- Problem solving skills, analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Well organised with excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
- Team player with high degree of flexibility
- High degree of integrity, ability to work with sensitive data and maintain trust and confidentiality
- Good interpersonal skills, able to adapt manner to deal with employees and mediate at all levels including senior management up to board level

Salary on offer is up to AED 30,000 depending on experience.
