Legal Advisor

Job description / Role

This opportunity is with a large Insurance Company based in UAE.

As a Legal Advisor, you will be responsible to manage the daily legal requirements of the company. You will assist in reviewing, summarizing and analyzing claim records, compile information & reports and recommend activities. You would be responsible for drafting documents, filing motions and conducting post-trial activities. You will participate in negotiating settlement of disputes with regards to claims. You would oversee the claims legal files and maintain an electronic filing system.

You will provide legal opinion in cases involving company employees and recommend appropriate course of action. You will prepare a variety of research, analysis, and legal information related to the preparation and investigation of cases. You will assist in performing Legal Affairs meetings and court cases, as required.

Requirements

To be successful, you should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in the field of law with a background in the insurance industry. A Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field is a must. You must have excellent oral and written English and Arabic communication skills.
