Legal Advisor 5 years PQE

Charterhouse is working with a global company that is looking to hire a Legal Advisor with 5 years post qualification experience to join its Legal team based in Dubai. The business is looking for an individual with solid understanding of Legal and Commercial processes with in-depth experience in advising on Commercial and Regulatory matters including Competition Law, Contracts experience management and strong business acumen and Commercial awareness.

The role will involve an interesting broad spectrum of work and will work closely with business and external Lawyers in relation to the legal aspects of the company's operations in the Middle East as well as Internationally. The role is responsible for providing proactive, expert and strategic legal advice to the company’s day to day activities. You will observe and enhance internal governance policies and manage the impact of external factors on the company. In addition, you will ensure compliance at all times with applicable laws, rules and regulations in the UAE.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s Degree in law admitted to practice law in the UAE. 5 yeas post qualification experience, preferred in a corporate legal department or private practice. Current practising certificate or equivalent membership of recognised professional law body is essential. Broad corporate and commercial legal experience is required and great knowledge of labour law. You should have comprehensive experience within the area of Commercial Law and Contracts with strong business acumen. Strong commercial awareness and negotiating skills are a must for this role. You should have excellent analytical ability and drafting skills with exceptional English and Arabic language communication.
