Charterhouse is working with a global FMCG company that is looking to hire a Legal Advisory and Relations Manager with 8-12 years post qualification experience to join their Legal team based in Dubai.

Our client is looking for an individual with a solid understanding of Legal and Commercial processes with in-depth experience in advising on Commercial and Regulatory matters including Competition Law, Contracts experience management and strong business acumen and Commercial awareness.

The role will involve an interesting broad spectrum of work and will work closely with Stakeholders, business and external Lawyers in relation to the legal aspects of the company's operations in the Middle East as well as Internationally.

Experience working outside of the Middle East in similar markets such as Africa, Australasia or similar would be a distinct advantage.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a qualified Solicitor with at least 8-12 years post qualification experience relating to FMCG, Pharma or similar sectors, ideally with 5 years in an in-house role.

Previous experience in advising on commercial and regulatory matters. Comprehensive experienced in the area of Commercial Law and Contracts with strong business acumen, commercial awareness and negotiating skills are a must for this role.

This would be a great move for a Lawyer already working in-house or looking to make a move from a leading private practice to an in-house position. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Arabic.
