Legal Counsel Secondment

Job description / Role

We currently have an urgent role for a mid-level legal counsel with at least 5 yrs PQE for a Secondment with an entity backed by the Abu Dhabi government which will be based in Abu Dhabi. The salary is inclusive AED35K+ depending on experience and current salary.

There is a strong opportunity to go permanent and if you do, the salary will definitely be increased.

• The role involves assisting and supporting the senior legal counsel and being responsible for drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents, including leases, commercial terms, ensuring compliance, real estate contracts, construction documents and other commercial agreements.
• You will support the senior legal counsel on all real estate, development and commercial litigation matters.
• You will support the leasing department in the negotiation of commercial terms and leasing transactions from a legal perspective.
• They are seeking someone with excellent knowledge of English or ADGM law.
• Fluent English is a must as well as experience in the region.
• You will need to be on a freelance or spousal visa.

Salary:
AED 35,000 to 40,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• We are seeking someone who is polished, professional, reliable and enthusiastic.
• You will have a solid work history and ideally be looking to secure a permanent role.
• Must be a qualified lawyer
• English or ADGM law
• Fluent English
• Min 5 years in law firm or corporate dealing with retail or commercial property
• Spousal or freelance visa
