Job description / Role
The purpose of this position is to provide legal advice and support to the business units specified in Annex A ("Relevant Business Units"), which list may be amended from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years PQE as a lawyer from a recognized jurisdiction gained either in-house or at a law firm. Qualified to practice in the UAE or a foreign relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 7 years post qualification experience preferably within the telecommunications or a similar hi-tech industry.
- Prior experience of working in a GCC &/or MENA country is preferable.
Knowledge and skills:
- Bilingual capability (fluency in English & Arabic) desirable but not essential
- Sound written and verbal communication skills (including legal Arabic drafting skills)
- Team-oriented, co-operative approach.
- Professional and pays attention to detail and quality
- Basic understanding of telecommunications technology
- Time management - able to priorities
- General MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
