Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an Energy company in Sharjah who is looking to hire an in-house Legal Counsel to join its existing legal team. The position will be to undertake a broad range of corporate, commercial, contracts and litigation legal work as required.
This is an opportunity to join a substantial business, as a key part of its Middle East legal team. The remit for the role will cover matters across the Middle East. The company has a long established operation in the UAE so this is an excellent business to join for long-term career development.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a UAE National with at least 5 years legal experience relating to commercial, contracts, litigation legal work, with experience of the drafting, review, negotiation and management of agreements etc. The preference would be for a candidate with in-house Legal Counsel experience gained either in-house with another company or in a UAE based law firm. Energy, oil and gas sector specific experience is not required.
