Job description / Role
Possessing law firm exposure within a marketing and business development capacity, this is a new role based in Dubai with an international law firm to support the Middle East and Asia markets. The core function of this Coordinator role is to further develop opportunities for both new and existing clients by raising the profile and its Senior Partners and the firm through marketing collateral, communication and PR efforts, events, sponsorships and memberships.
To maximise opportunities, it is essential that a current and accurate database of case studies, Lawyer and Partner biographies and client and contact details are constantly maintained and updated, in order to target specific demographics to ensure maximum ROI from each campaign. Legal library maintenance of collaterals, press and publication reports and images are also a key aspect of this busy role. As part of the business development efforts, you will also prepare and collate client presentations, briefings, new business proposals and draft legal directories, including Chambers and Legal 500 submissions in line with the global branding requirements to ensure consistency at all times. Full involvement and logistics in local and regional events, round tables, seminars, conferences and sponsorships to increase visibility of the law firm is also a vital aspect and you will therefore be an integral part of the overall strategy implementation team for the Middle East & Asia region.
Requirements
Reporting into the Business Development Managers in Dubai and Hong Kong, you will coordinate closely with the PR and media teams across the region. Promoting exposure of the practice and the success and achievements of its individual Lawyers you will do this via client alerts, newsletters and updates. Possessing strong research capabilities, you will also suggest new innovations and therefore have a clear understanding and a minimum of 2 years of experience from within the legal industry and its events, awards, competitor activity and trends in the region. An excellent communicator with strong content writing and editing skills in the English language, it is expected that you will be a graduate in marketing, communication or PR and be available within a maximum of 1 month.
