Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client within Legal industry is looking for a Legal Secretary to be assigned in Dubai, UAE who will be supporting 1 Partner, 2 Associates and a Paralegal

As a Legal Secretary, your roles and responsibilities will include but no limited to the following:
- Creating and amending documents, correspondence and emails, and manuscripts to a high degree of accuracy and to tight deadlines.
- Creating document packs for client meetings
- Type letters, correspondence, presentations, reports and legal documentation, including digital dictation if applicable
- Attend group meetings where appropriate
- Maintain tact and diplomacy, trust and confidentiality
- Daily maintenance of diary events and organization of the day-to-day schedule of fee earners, to include the identification and resolution of potential issues
- Demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end billing process and financial system

Requirements

- Have at least 3-5 years of experience as Legal Secretary in a law firm
- Previous legal experience
- Excellent communication, grammar and punctuation skills
- Good delegator and comfortable in a supervisory role
- Excellent typing speed
- Excellent IT skills in MS Office
- Organized and able to work to tight deadlines
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent telephone manner
