Job description / Role
We are currently representing an international law firm seeking a qualified Legal Translator to join their team in the Dubai office.
- Undertaking translation of legal and non-legal documents and performing interpretations, this role will be reporting to the Translations Manager. Day to day tasks will include:
- Producing high quality, written translations of legal and non-legal documents from English to Arabic and Arabic to English prepared in a timely manner with minimum supervision required
- Provide interpretation of legal and non-legal information upon request
- Committed to carrying out translation work in the most cost-effective way
- Proofreading legal and non-legal documentation
- Adhering to house-style in all documentation
- Working collaboratively with the team to provide feedback on the translations from external parties

Requirements
- A minimum of three years experience in a similar role within an international law firm or in-house legal department of a professional services firm
- Advanced knowledge of Arabic-English and vice versa document translations and formatting
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Professional and client-service oriented
