Job description / Role
Lifting Technician is responsible to carry out alone or as a member of team for the safe cargo lifting operation and heavy/controlled lift movement of materials along with the Lift Plan, risk Assessment and Inspection of all Lifting equipment in the Onshore Services. Carry our other similar or related jobs such as assisting any cargo operations including CCUs as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
* Bachelor Degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized University with experience in lifting equipment inspector & certification.
* through knowledge on of all type of CCUs and Lifting Equipment associated with oilfield operations both Onshore and Offshore.
* Minimum 2 LEEA Cortication's including one diploma.
* NDT Level 2 (MPI).
* Familiar with International Lifting Equipment Standards and Codes for performing inspection and certification.
* Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in CCUs and lifting equipment certification and maintenance activities on Onshore / Offshore Oil and Gas industries out of which 3 years should be in inspection/maintenance/ planning of lifting equipment in Major Oil Companies.
