Job description / Role
Client are an International Design group whom are seeking a Lighting Designer to complement their Lighting Design team.
The successful candidate will work alongside the senior lighting designer in a wide range of exciting projects to create innovative and creative lighting schemes. The role entails collaborating with the various design disciplines in integrating light as part of the spatial experience.
They cover Projects within the Commercial, Residential and 5* Hospitality industries.
Requirements
The right candidate will be passionate about lighting with a good eye for detail.
We are looking for a creative designer with a few years of design experience in architecture, interior design or theater.
Previous experience in lighting is preferred but not essential.
- Necessary technical skills include AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.), Photoshop, and InDesign. Skills in REVIT will be handy. Background and experience in Interior Design/ Architecture.
- Experience in lighting software DIALux or AGi32 is not essential but will be advantageous.
- Freehand drawing skills would be useful.
- Very good English skills both written and spoken will be required.
You will demonstrate a collaborative team-working style with people from all backgrounds. You will be self-motivated and be able to work independently and also, enjoy working to tight deadlines.
