Job description / Role
Our client, a well-established 500+ bed hospital based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a LIS Application Specialist on a permanent basis. The candidate MUST have SunQuest Application experience and on-site client experience. The selected candidate will primarily responsible for the following activities:
- Design, development, analysis, documentation and configuration of the SunQuest system.
- Serve as a single point of contact for the hospital
- Review existing information processing systems, scheduling limitations and workflow
- Provide assistance with all testing activities for the SunQuest application system
- Analyze the problems associated with SunQuest and suggest creative solutions.
Requirements
The selected candidate must have worked on-site at a hospital or laboratory and have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SunQuest application systems
- Possess a thorough understanding of all the functions of the application system
- Experience with implementing and providing continuous maintenance of the application system.
- Conducting testing activities and testing new application releases
- Experience with maintaining and recording software and hardware inventories
- Highlighting the issues related to configuration and integration of the application system
- Knowledgeable about preparing, facilitating and documenting validation sessions
