Charterhouse is working with an international Law Firm who is seeking a qualified Litigation Paralegal to join an established and highly successful department. This opportunity is for a fixed term contract of 12 months, and will be based in the firm’s Dubai office.
This is a role where first impressions count as it will require working alongside senior management and with a varied client base. The responsibilities will include conducting factual and legal research, assisting on document reviews, Relativity searches, first pass chronologies, expert document support work, team bundles, witness interview packs, hearing logistics and support. Additionally, the duties will include assisting on BD articles.
This role will be supporting the fee earners in their tasks, including investigation and research into particular case and facts as well as indexing, collating and filling of documents in preparation for court.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must be a law graduate with either LLB Law Degree, JD (or equivalent) and/or LLM (essential). LPC or equivalent is preferred. Previous paralegal experience with a minimum of 18 months gained in an international litigation/arbitration practice is ideal.
It would be advantageous to have Middle East exposure, but not mandatory. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information in a succinct way and acute attention to detail.
