Local Operations Manager

Job description / Role

Currently recruiting on behalf of a global world leading organisation for a local operations manager. Due to continued growth and success, this person will be taken on to become part of the well-established team in the Dubai office.

The successful candidate will lead a team of high performers to ensure that the service provided by the business is paramount at all times.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Drive process improvement and drive effective communication
- Ensure the provision of excellent customer service
- Supervise and develop direct reports
- Develop the local sales team
- Produce MI reports and communicate these to HQ
- Monitor daily activity and performance
- Liaise with the quality manager to manage claims

Requirements

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a proven track record in a previous operations role. You will be self-driven and motivated with strong commercial awareness.

- Customer service management within the industrial sector
- Knowledge of export management specifics
- Flexible to travel across Europe on occasion
- Proven process, people and operations management skills
