Job description / Role

Logistic and Repair Officer - Gulf

- Updating and checking of all components in the required systems
- Preparing material transactions e.g. PO (Purchase Order) receipt, RO (Repair Order) creation/receipt as well as movement, shipment and other relevant transactions
- Checking and replenishing necessary components to ensure availability of adequate stock at all times
- Conducting external visual inspections and confirming documentation in line with components
- Managing turnaround time, cost and service level (reflecting contractual commitments) with MRO suppliers as well as with forwarders
- Ensuring proper housekeeping by complying with company rules of storage
- Adhering to safety procedures at all times
- Performing tasks/functions assigned by manager and in full compliance with company processes

Requirements

- Bachelor's or University degree
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes & Internet tools
- Fluent English – French and/or Arabic language is an advantage
- Knowledge in logistics and/or repair management would be an advantage
- Working experience in the aerospace industry is preferred
- Diploma in an Engineering discipline will be beneficial

The selected candidate will need to learn and work independently taking own initiative to get things done. Will also need to be quality focused and driven with strong planning and organisation skills.
