Logistics and Inventory Control Manager - Toys R Us - Dubai, Regional Office

We are currently looking for Logistics & Inventory Control Manager to join Toys R Us team based in Dubai, UAE.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing logistics operation of TRU stores in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Egypt. You will ensure that the logistics function operates as per Buying and Logistics Department’s key objectives, Open To Buy (OTB) and stock levels as well as ascertain that an effective supply chain is in place both in terms of service level and cost efficiencies in accordance with changing business opportunities.You will be required to give appropriate recommendations based on the analysis of daily/ weekly /monthly reports and variances.

You will constantly monitor Distribution Centre performances against set Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure service levels and ensure process improvements to enhance service & reduce costs. You will support the buying process in efficient & cost effective movement of merchandise from different locations across the world to enable efficient operations in the business

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, it is essential that you are a Graduate, with an additional qualification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics and / or Membership of the Institute of Logistics.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, retail experience would be an advantage as would SAP experience. You will be strong in Core management skills: Analytical, planning, organizing, negotiating and effective communication.

Being a key member of the TRU management team, you will play a key role in the strategic decision making process and thereby will provide inputs for all commercial logistics matters.
