Job description / Role
- Responsible for all logistics operations and support across all distribution channels.
- Maximize cost efficiencies on all inbound and out bound logistics by analyzing all in-house and outsourced Logistics Providers.
- Ensure that all the warehouse functions are being carried out effectively and proper controls are in place in order to minimize Stock loss. Monitor developments in Shipping/Customs/Insurance and analyze/recommend options.
- Analyze technology and distribution network trends, identify best practices in the industry and implement it in the company as appropriate.
Warehouse:
- Planning, Organizing and Controlling of Warehouse's over-all operations
- Monitoring of work such as such as delivery schedule, picking, binning which is organized by the warehouse supervisors.
- Manage stock control through system receipts, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring to ensure that stock losses are minimized.
- Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area and ensure that all the government regulations are met including warehouse health and safety, Municipality requirements etc. Ensure security of the Assets such stock, building, vehicles etc.
Requirements
The candidate should have experience handling Logistics as well as Warehouse Management Functions.
He should be experienced handling various fashion brands in the retail industry.
U.A.E experience is a must.
