Logistics Manufacturing Technician - Western National From Telecom Industry

Salary: 12,000 AED to 15,000 AED

Our client is a well-known Multi-National logistics and freight forwarding company based in Dubai and works across all industries. The group operates a global network with some 500 offices in more than 70 countries. It is one of the world's leading providers of supply chain solutions, combining its core products of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Logistics to deliver globally integrated, tailor-made end-to-end solutions.

Due to their expanding portfolio of clients they are seeking a Logistics Manufacturing Technician.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for LMS in country during and post project implementation
- Responsible for supporting in the hiring and skill training and development of logistics technical staff , to meet the LMS project scope
- Implement and monitor LMS KPI reporting system with targets
- Secure continuous improvement methodology (Logex) to allow the operational teams to continually improve the business after steady state has been achieved
- Manage the Business Risk & Business Continuity Program during the startup phase
- Ensure we meet requisite Trade & compliance regulations
- Ensure SOP (standard operating procedures) which reflect and manage the LMS operation within the warehouse are followed
- Implement of facility layout and design in coordination with local/Regional Management/customer
- Accountable at point of project handover that the local team have the skills, know how and expertise to run the project
- Help to drive, improve the LMS solution so caters for business growth in the most cost effective manner.

To ensure that facility is set up to manage bottleneck constraints and people understand and are capable of deploying fundamental requirements of:
* Customer order Scheduling
* Capacity Planning in line with a rolling forecast
* Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
* TPM Schedules

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in LMS industry or technical production environment
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a test engineer or similar line of work.
- Graduate, preferably in an Engineering discipline. Operations, Project Management qualifications also considered.
- Very good knowledge of PC-software, electronics and measurement methodology as well as IS/IT and data com
- Good knowledge of the following systems: Track n Trace, Testnet, PIS, Idefix, Steam, Reptile
- Westerners are preferred for the role
- Experience in Telecom Industry is mandatory
