Logistics Officer

Job description / Role

Salary: 8,000 - 10,000 (Gross)

For a multinational company based near the new Dubai World Central airport.

Reporting to Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out general logistics and mobilization activities for the supply chain function, which include planning, sourcing, delivering and supporting implementation.

You will manage all warehouse related activities, handle both in-bound and outbound shipments, ensure all documentation related to shipping and customs is raised and filed, carry out quarterly inventory count and produce the monthly cost recovery sheet and stock reports.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have a forklift licence and should have a formal training or qualification in logistics and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in general logistics, including warehousing, transportation, customs clearance etc.

You should also be able to travel at all times and at short notice. Excellent communication skills in English is essential.
