Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working in partnership with an international investment manager, who is currently looking to recruit a Quant Developer to partner with their Macro investment management team.
The Macro Quant developer will be working closely with the Portfolio Managers and Analysts across the EMEA Macro business to aid their trading execution. This role will also work with the central operations team.
In addition, this Developer will be responsible for building APIs for data and analytics, trading system developments and continuous improvement of back-end coding and systems. This role will work directly with the traders, ensuring they have the accurate information for decision making and executing trades.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should possess at least 8 years’ experience within buyside quant development and an understanding of Macro trading strategies. The client builds models within Python, therefore, being an expert within this programming language is mandatory. Previous experience within a hedge fund and STEM degree would be extremely advantageous.
