Maintenance Planner (Aviation)

Job description / Role

- To perform planning for routine non routine aircraft maintenance as required in order to meet the END USER flight schedule as well as to develop work instruction in accordance to maintenance manual.
- Analyzing Maintenance specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine Maintenance processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
- Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established maintenance sequences and lead times.
- Plans the process for maintenance, assembly, erection or installation of parts, components, assemblies, etc.
- Monitors, analyzes & reports performance to schedule of Maintenance & Maintenance support activities, utilizing information derived from material and Maintenance control systems.
- Ensures all parties are fully cognizant of Maintenance status, & that work planning and execution objectives are integrated & communicated.
- Analyzes requests for maintenance/repair services & determines the validity, content & scope of requested work.
- To create maintenance work instruction such as routine, non-routine, job card and etc. for different level tasks as required.

Requirements

* Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
* 7 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning & Control
* Technical knowledge of Aviation products and materials.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with effective problem solving abilities
* Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organisation and external customers
