Job description / Role
- Performing preventive maintenance of production lines as per the schedule
- Provide technical assistance to operation teams, resolving any technical and electrical issues on the lines and throughout the organization.
- Maintain the average down time with less than 3%.
- Scheduled and follow up all capex maintenance tasks assigned .
- Ensuring all electrical & electronic systems adhere to health and safety standards, upgrading equipment when necessary.
- Timely audit each machines and identify the probable failures and fix the same ASAP.
- Control the spare parts inventory.
- Follow up the requisitions with concerned department for the maintenance job.
- Keep the records up to date for all the maintenance carried out.
Requirements
- High Diploma or First degree in mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 6 Years in a similar role within Food & Beverage industry.
Functional Knowledge:
- Knowledgeable in machines operating processes.
- Thorough knowledge of technical components and functioning of manufacturing machines.
- Thorough understanding of production equipment and process knowledge.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of programming PLC Siemens.
- Trouble shooting of fault in PLC controlled machines.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety procedures in relation to electrical equipment.
- Good technical knowledge of Electro mechanical systems
- Good analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
