Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

(This is a Contract-Hire Position Open to Both Male & Female)

About the Job

Carry out preventive & corrective maintenance, inspections, and repair works for all assigned automotive equipment in the fleet and CNG unit, as per equipment standards and manufacturers recommendations resulting optimum integrity and reliability.

Key Accountabilities

Auto Maintenance
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations, ensuring compliance to HSE standards and technical guidelines.
- Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations for timely maintenance as per defined guidelines.
- Inspect vehicles according to the requirements for emissions and safety; conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness.
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
- Conduct regular routine and scheduled inspection and maintenance of all auto equipment to support achievement of integrity and equipment efficiency.
- Test vehicles and static equipment after repair for satisfactory operations.
- Work correctly to diagrams and read test gauges and meters.
- Arrange and participate in the inspection of equipment for quality related schedules, and as required.
- Prepare and participate in both internal and external ISO / quality audits as and when required to ensure complete support to the audit process.
- Understand computerized maintenance management system and participate in the preventive, condition based, breakdown maintenance jobs on a day-to-day basis including data compilation in the software and preparation of the required reports.
- Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation system components
- Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safety precautions are taken.
- Ensure the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area (safety checks).
- Provide information to Team Leader on the status of preventive and repair work scheduling, processing of work orders and safety work permits.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in Auto Maintenance in Oil and Gas Industry
