Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician

Mediclinic Welcare Hospital is looking forward to hire a Maintenance Technician (Refrigeration and Air conditioning Technician) in the Engineering Department.

The Maintenance technician will be responsible for providing skilled work in the installation, repair, operation, and maintenance of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (AC) equipment and systems in the Hospital.

Responsible for maintenance of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and systems. Repairs faulty and dysfunctional Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and Plant. Conduct daily routine inspection and maintain a logbook on the status of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment. Trouble-shoot Air Conditioning equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment.

Make recommendations to replace equipment if expected cost to repair exceeds the possible replacement cost. Maintain job worksheets detailing nature of assignment, parts utilized, time expended and type of work performed. Perform regular cleaning of the equipment. Responsible for managing the safety of the Air Conditioning Plant rooms and workshops.

Requirements

Technical Diploma/ Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Al least 5 years prior experience as Refrigeration and Maintenance Technician in a hospital or similar environment.
