Job description / Role
Our Client, a leading company in the UAE, is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.
The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for ensuring that the financial, accounting and banking functions are completed in an accurate, timely and efficient manner and to be responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting and financial statements.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of detailed cash forecasts;
• Preparation of invoice processing and payment according to payment terms;
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations;
• Preparation of month-end accounting and global reporting;
• Assisting in preparation of the annual budget;
• Assisting in preparation of management reporting, including P&L, Balance sheet and cashflow;
• Assisting with tax compliance processes.
Requirements
• In order to apply for this role, you must be Degree qualified, with an Accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), with a minimum of three years’ experience.
• In addition, you must have previous experience working with Yardi, Netsuite or Infor software, a high level of IT skills and financial reporting knowledge, as well as experience in processing journals, payments, purchase orders and drafting management account packs.
• Fluency in English is essential.
