Management Accountant - Al Futtaim Electronics - Dubai, U.A.E.

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible to manage the finance function for the distribution channel of Al Futtaim Electronics.

On this role you will handle financial accounting - assist in management of company accounts & financials, MIS and reporting - support in preparation of monthly accounts (B/S, P&L, cash flows etc.), budget / reviews & compliance - assist in budget preparation / budget review & manage ERP requirements of the group through ensuring compliance to consolidation requirements (budget / actual performance), monthly closing - monthly accounts closing / provision review, GL review & perform related process in the system, capex & fixed assets - track the capex spends & ensures capitalization is complete in time. Review critically various financial / non-financial information capturing process to identify scope for improvement / automation.

Ensure that monthly insurance reviews are carried so that the business risks are minimized in all stores, such as cash, fidelity, property & other assets. Interact with & provide assistance to internal/external auditors to facilitate completion of audits.

Your role will be based in Dubai. You will report into the Finance Manager.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you should have a Bachelors degree specialised in commerce / accounting / finance / eCommerce. MBA - Finance / M.Com / CA / CMA / ACCA is an asset.

You should have minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance & accounts. This experience should be within a retail / consumer electronics environment. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.

Along with previous experience you must have excellent analytical, numerical, presentation and reporting skills, knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and strong computer skills - including ERP knowledge (preferably SAP / BPC / BI) and advanced MS-Office knowledge. Lateral thinking, analytical mind and good management skills - must have a "feel" for figures in a business environment.

To be a successful Accounts Executive, you must be committed, hardworking, with a high level of accuracy, an eye for detail and have the ability to thrive in a high-paced / high pressure environment amidst frequent change.
