Manager - Airport Fire Service Technical Competency
Thousands of aircraft movements every day. A complex network of road systems, taxiways, runways, aprons and lighting systems. Airside Operations maintains and operates all airside infrastructure and implement the new technologies and that give us industry- leading capacity and efficiency. They do all that in a live environment and put customer service at the heart of it all.
What you'll deliver
- You'll be leading internal quality assurance within the Airport Fire Service across both airports ensuring compliance to GCAA regulations
- You'll be responsible to conduct audits, evaluations and reviews of training processes
- You'll manage the assessment of competence process for Fire Service operational staff, regularly reviewing performance and taking action accordingly
- You'll be responsible for ensuring a high- quality delivery and technical competence assessment for staff, coaching and mentoring them to ensure standards are met and in compliance with the regulator
Requirements
What you bring
- You'll have at least 10 years' experience in an Airport fire service in which you'll have at least 5 years' experience as a Station Officer or Watch Manager
- You'll have previous experience within a fire service training and assessment role
- You'll hold excellent numeracy, literacy and English Language sills
- You'll hold a valid UAE/GCC driving license (Category 4 - Heavy truck).
