Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the company’ asset data (ADIA, AAIA and GAA) and new Capital Works asset data for capital projects, fit-outs, refurbishment and asset upgrades) which are required to be operated and maintained by the the company FM and their FMC Contractors across the company infrastructure and property portfolio.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic
- Ensure that the company and its Facilities Management goals and Asset Management objectives are effectively developed, implemented and communicated to all relevant stakeholders on a continuous basis
- Contribute to the overall management and policy framework of the company’ Asset Management strategy, including the development of relevant asset management programs and plans
- Establish a performance management approach; including ensuring that a comprehensive set of asset performance indicators, standards and targets is in place with defined functions and areas of responsibility related to Asset Data Information Management and Asset Transfer Procedures
- Be responsible for the effective development, dissemination and delivery of Asset Management operational requirements to all relevant stakeholders to ensure they are focused and achieve the company’ goals, objectives and policies on a continuous basis

Operational
- Oversee the preparation of Facilities Management operating budgets and forecasts (including financial and non-financial scenario analysis) for current and future operations and maintenance including capital replacement and new Asset Transfer impacts
- Prvide continuous mentoring advice and support and monitor compliance by the company Facilities Management Operations Dept. and Facilities Management Contractors on SOP’s for Asset Management including for existing and new assets, fit-outs, capital upgrades and new capital works
- Continuous liaison and communication with CAFM Systems Manager, Project Manager and the company Finance Dept. on any Contract Variations, Facilities Management Contract renewals and new Facilities Management outsourcing Contracts that will impact upon Asset Management and prepare variance and related reports and recommendations as required
- Responsible for the development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures and standards including whole life costing, value engineering, material specification and supply chain management to ensure best value

People Management
- Recommend training needs for subordinates and evaluate the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel
- Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommend necessary actions as per the applied practices
- Work with HR on identifying future manpower needs in line with the required plans of the company

Requirements

- At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Certifications relevant to discipline.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience with at least five years in a leadership role in a similar Division preferably in a similar environment.
