Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
To manage and coordinate Business Analysis activities across multiple projects and business as usual (BAU) work streams, helping ensure requirements are clearly and concisely documented, to the satisfaction of stakeholders. This role also works with stakeholders to negotiate and agree the best possible course of action when conflicting requirements emerge, helping ensure requirements are properly impact assessed, and that all parties approve proposal prior to initiating work packages.

Team Management
- Manages and coordinates team activities, including setting milestones, objectives and KPI’s to help ensure activities are actively managed through to fruition.
- Manages and provides work direction to one or more technical or clerical staff or acts as a team lead on designated projects or assignments

Business Analysis
- Leads internal and external analysis activities to defines and captures Business/IT related processes, requirements and scope.
- Manages work across Divisions to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, concerns
- Leads and manages internal and external teams in the creation, review and approval of specifications for both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Manages activities to track and fully document system changes within functional and business specifications.
- Leads the consolidation of information into clear and concise correspondence or other written form for use in management decision-making

Stakeholder Management
- Manages and when necessary acts as liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and 3rd party organisations in the analysis, design, configuration, review, documentation and testing activities.
- Acts as point of contact for end users and technical teams, participates in meetings, reviews and communications to translate information and mediate during conflict.

Change Management
- Helps ensure the feasibility and impact analysis of demand for new systems and enhancements to existing systems, are clearly documented and understood for decision making activities.
- Drives the team and wider IT to identify, analyse, propose and document opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driven change.
- Key stakeholder and participant in maintaining and improving an overall IT change management strategy.

Testing
- Participates and organises User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functional Testing (FT) of new and changed systems and their integration.

Training
- Manages, plans and provides or assist in training of professional and technical staff, as required during or after changes.

Requirements

- Bachelors or higher Degree in computers or information systems or related adequate experience
- A minimum 3 Years Managing Business Analysis staff
- A minimum 6 years Business Analysis experience
- A minimum 4 years Banking experience
