Employment: Full Time

Client is a Government company based in Abu Dhabi is recruiting for an Assistant Manager- Information Security and Risk. The Assistant Manager- Information Security and Risk will be looking after Intelligence, Forensics and Incidence Response.

Client is a Government Company based in Abu Dhabi.

The role of Assistant Manager- ISR will include but not be limited to the following:
* Implementing a program to identify and report the usage of threat intelligence services and articulate the business benefits it provides
* Implementing a forensics program to identify the required forensics requirements, utilize/leverage current forensics tools and deliver as a pro-active and/or reactive service
* Developing the annual Information Security awareness plan with the assistance of group communications and human capital teams to ensure it successful rollout. Introduction of new communication channels like e-learning are encouraged to be developed while using existing channels. The candidate will be responsible for delivering the plan successfully.
* Developing and owning (responsibility for) a security incident response program, process, policies and team. Severity of incidents and the different teams and partners must be considered as well as regulatory requirements.
* Monitoring compliance with the organization's information security policies and procedures among employees, contractors, alliances, and other third parties, and referring problems to appropriate department managers or administrators
* Monitoring internal control systems (technologies) to ensure that appropriate information access levels
* Participate as a member of the Information Security Council, IT projects committee (when required) and the Change Management committee (when required)
* Responsible for providing Security Metrics to Senior management for the areas of where he/she is responsible for
* Assist in the design or re-designing of internal networks
* Assist the Vice President - Information Security & Risk in budgeting for upcoming year objectives
* Plan, coordinate, evaluate, test, implement and manage projects assigned to the Information Security & Risk sub-unit on time and within budget
* Maintain the Information Security & Risk Team site on the organization intranet, and update with news, events and relevant information
* If a team is present, maintain a fun, challenging and productive environment for reporting employees, with their development as a focus.
* Keep-in-touch with the latest security technologies and threats within the market in order to expand one's knowledge and remain up-to-date

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other equivalent IT degree essential
* Masters degree in Information Systems preferable
* One of the following specialist /tertiary certifications preferred including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CEH, etc.
* Minimum 5-8 years dedicated proven experience in IT security within a structured technical environment.
* Proven experience of successfully defining security aspects of a variety of solution architectures on at least three large-scale projects.
* Proven experience of leading the security solution definition and implementation on at least two large-scale projects.
* Proven experience of operating at a corporate-wide architecture level, covering strategic direction of the business and reflecting the IT component of the business plan.
