This senior role is responsible for formulation, update and management of Credit Policy, Credit & Risk Control standards and Product Programs from a Credit, Collection & Risk perspective for all unsecured Asset products under the domain of Personal Banking & Retail Attijari Al Islami.

You will be expected to contribute to a profitable and sustainable growth of PBG & Attijari Al Islami portfolio across various unsecured Asset products by ensuring quality and timely preparation and review of MIS reports & analytics within agreed Service-levels to reduce NPL bucket-provisioning directly impacting the Bank's P&L.

You will be responsible for Portfolio Analytics and suggesting correctional or remedial measures to reduce NPL bucket-provisioning directly impacting the Bank's P&L.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Based on MIS and Analytics , responsible for suggesting changes to Policy including new Policy, modifications to Policy etc. from a Credit & Risk perspective.

- Responsible for managing Scorecard, Limit management and impairment model management including other related Risk models to identify both risk and opportunity areas.

- Keeping track on the portfolio performance, being in close coordination with Collections teams on the delinquency status, and ascertain implications of any policy changes.

- Initiate action to enhance / improve process change for unsecured products portfolio highlights.

- Continuous Data validation & quality check of the front end Loan Origination to improve data quality.

- Oversight and control on regular MIS generation ensure its accuracy, timely reports submission to stakeholders for Retail products.

- Responsible for presenting Credit & Risk Management packs in various forums including PBG-Credit Committee, in a back-up capacity for HORP.

- Implement Technology and Reengineering initiatives relating to DFC, BPM, CVX-R and AECB System platforms including process and system migration to WNS for outsourced services besides implementation of various RMD strategic Tools required in accordance with approved Credit Risk Management framework.

- Contribute to Development of Personal Banking, Business Banking and Retail Attijari Al Islami assets' business for building a healthy Portfolio.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree or higher in Finance/ Business Intelligence / Analytics.

- Preferably working in the Risk department in a Bank in a similar position.

- Possesses knowledge of Credit Appraisal and Credit Risk.

- High Proficiency in Analytics, EXCEL & SAS, scorecard development and monitoring.

- Communication Ability - written and spoken

- Total Banking experience of 8 years'+ of which minimum 5 years' in Credit & Risk functions at various levels preferably across different Banks/NBFIs.

- Should have managed - Retail Credit Policy, Portfolio Analytics & MIS and System & Risk-model implementation

- Strong understanding of Banking operations, policies & procedures, External economic/market environment including UAE Central Bank and other Statutory guidelines

- Strong Analytical skills and Excellent Communication skills

- Database management including Risk models and Reporting tools

- Planning, Organizational and Presentation skills.

- High level of Inter-personal and Negotiating skills.

- Strong Leadership qualities

- Confident Decision maker backed by experience and facts with justification.

- Effective Networking cutting across various Stakeholders.

- Automation of Processes by constant Re-engineering initiatives.
