Roles & Responsibilities:

Manager Level:
- Provides administrative and technical direction of all Quality Assurance activities

Within the Facility.
- Responsible for ensuring the qualities of the Facility to ensure that products meet the quality standards of the customer, the OEM and parent company.
- Responsible for the technical training of all dedicated inspection personnel.
- Manages the Safety program.

Technical Level:
- Updates the Repair Manual to comply with all Civil Aviation Regulations from various governing bodies and obtaining approvals from all necessary agencies.
- Maintains a distribution list of all copies of the Repair Manual and ensures that all copies (Paper and or Electronic) are provided revision updates as required by the end user.
- Develops inspection standards, methods and procedures to verify compliance with all applicable manufacturer's recommendations and customer requirements.
- Ensures that Facility products meet all of the technical specifications as required by the customer, including the manufacturer's maintenance manual, customer repair instructions, Service Bulletins, Service Information Letters, Technical Information Letters and Airworthiness Directives.
- Ensures that proper inspection record, reports, and forms are used and correctly executed during the repair and inspection processes.
- Ensures that files for work orders, inspection forms, and related work records are properly maintained and readily retrievable by this repair station to prevent loss or damage.
- Maintains a current file of applicable Airworthiness Directives and similar repair instructions from the various governing bodies.
- Ensure that all materials are inspected and approved by authorized personnel prior to receiving into inventory.
- Establishes and maintains a system of inspection and calibration of precision tools and test equipment assigned to this repair station, ensuring that no equipment or tooling is utilized in the repair process unless it has been properly inspected and/or calibrated.
- Manages all aspects of the development of new repair capabilities (Test bench, Training, Documentation, Tooling and parts)

Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years working experience in aircraft avionics & instrumentation service environment in a quality assurance

Requirements

Qualification And Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electronics
- Knowledge of avionics, electronics and quality assurance functions required.
- Experience interfacing with FAA/EASA/ GCAA audits.
- Strong English language oral communication and technical writing skills required.

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge on Safety and hazardous equipment
- ISO 9000 Quality Assurance Management and Internal Quality Audit experience a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously as part of a team.
