Employment: Full Time

Well regarded as an expert in your field, you will have an established reputation and a strong track record of delivering transforming programmes across the education industry.

You will have considerable experience of developing compelling propositions for clients and building a pipeline of business within a reputable consulting organisation.

You will also have:
- A track record of selling and managing significant programmes of work within the education sectors
- Deep experience of working with clients to shape solutions and the drive to effectively manage a project to a successful conclusion
- A passion for leading highly effective teams of consultants that will enhance reputation in the marketplace
- Proven business development and business leadership skills
- A strong and established network in health and/or social care.
- UAE and Qatar based candidates are preferred.

Role:
- Lead education related work in the MENA region
- Working with others in Region and in the UK, actively go to market, identify contacts, build relationships and develop business
- Build brand for education related business consulting in the Region -including news media, social media, conferences etc
- Develop solutions and create client proposals
- Assignment manage education sector projects, up to large scale multiple work stream assignments to deliver client satisfaction and repeat selling

Requirements

Managing Consultants are responsible for the sale of consulting work and the delivery of complex assignments.

They will typically have spent time working in education sector but will match this with a solid background in consulting as part of that experience. This opportunity will provide exposure to senior members of the Practice and Clients, as well as involvement in bids and proposals. You will have:

Consulting Skills

Demonstrated ability to manage assignments involving complexity of one or several dimension(s) including:
- Large team size
- Multiple work streams
- Multiple geographie
- Difficult client situation
- Highly technical subject matter/ ground-breaking work
- Demonstrated ability to interact unsupported with clients at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective client documents which require little or no editing
- Demonstrated ability to structure and develop solutions to client problems

Selling Skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop propositions for education sector and to turn these into sales efforts
- Demonstrated ability to lead sales efforts, including the development of marketing materials, responding to requests for proposal, negotiations with clients and finalising commercial terms
- Track record of sales in professional services and winning business in the region

Content Knowledge
- Deep understanding of one or more core knowledge areas within the education sector in the MENA region gained either in a line role or through consulting experience plus in-depth knowledge of at least one of schools, universities, regulation
- Deep knowledge of industry issues in core areas and a good understanding of wider industry issues
- Demonstrated ability to lead the development of significant TL

Other Skills
- Demonstrated ability to act as a role model and to provide line management of staff including significant coaching and mentoring of junior staff.
- A proactive self-starter who enjoys taking on responsibility and delivering results.
- Years of experience: 10+ years of relevant consulting experience. Ideally three to five years of experience in the region for a professional services firm.
- Good communication skills - written as well as oral, in English and Arabic language skills will be a preferred advantage.
- Degree from a top school, MBA or Ph.D. is a plus.
