Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This positions is responsible to plan, direct, manage and coordinate the daily operations of companies Manufacturing Works, manage contractual, proposals, financial, and commercial related operational matters, planning the effective use of finance, equipment’s and human resources to ensure that all jobs are completed within time and budget in accordance with the companies QHSE standards. The incumbent working on this position also ensures that improvement initiatives are being taken to meet key business objectives.

Coordination for Strategic Development and Budgeting:
- Coordinate with Head BA to prepare annual budget, develop strategies and set targets in line with the company goals in order to add value to the business.
- Assist BA Head in preparation of annual budget and its quarterly revisions to keep the expenses within limits.
- Effectiveness of business strategies

Operations Management:
- Responsible for the smooth running of operations in order to achieve and enhance work progress.
- Operational efficiencies

Project Management:
- To ensure proper project planning and cost monitoring of all the projects to enhance project profitability.
- To ensure that all project/jobs related activities are being performed according to the schedule, safety and clients’ expectations.
- To ensure that all procurements are being made according to the budget and project schedules.
- Ensures implementation of companies Project Management System.
- Project profitability
- Completion of Jobs on schedule
- Implementation of PMS

Resource Utilization:
- Responsible for optimum utilization of all resources including financial resources in the best possible manner for achievement of business goals.
- Effective & efficient usage of available resources

Managing Relationships with Clients:
- Maintain strong interaction with clients and ensure that all elements within LMW/HMW/KMW work in a flawless manner in order to fulfill the contractual commitments with clients and for developing new business.
- Client satisfaction
- No. of clients’ queries resolved

Contract Management/Client Negotiation
- Provide guidance to Design and Project Management Incharges (as and when required) on contract administration during the course of the project to ensure that company interests are protected and furthered.
- Regular interaction with client for progress reviews, contractual obligations and matters pertaining to overall project management.
- Effectiveness of the role

Implementation of Company Policies:
- Responsible to ensure the implementation of the relevant company policies & systems and legislative requirements (as applicable) to follow a standard approach toward the work.
- Compliance with procedural and legislative requirements

Product quality and process improvement:
- To ensure that improvement initiatives related to engineering change/new model introduction to improve product quality, manufacturing cost reduction, capacity growth, equipment reliability and productivity improvement are being taken.
- Number of initiatives taken for improvement

Taking the Ownership of Company QHSE Policy:
- Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy
- Comply with all QA/QC standards (DIMS documents) as applicable to the company systems, policies, procedures, and documents in order to deliver the expected quality of work.
- Adherence to HSE standards
- Adherence to DIMS documents
- Delivery of Jobs/works according to client expectations

Requirements

- Minimum 17 years experience
- Minimum B/E (mechanical engineering preferred)
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing/fabrication environment of oil and gas - process equipment i.e. pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, skids essential
