Role Summary:

The M&C test engineer will provide BN and CS testing support on Factory floor with both internal and External customer as per specifications defined to meet business objectives. He will also support Manufacturing Engineer in meeting deliverable as and when required. Lead the assigned technician team to provide a safe work environment for all our employees and contractors.

The Position will be based in JAFZA site a new MMF, where other BHGE Business will be operating in Synergy with M&C.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Test Engineer, you will:

- Test 3500 Systems, MarkV, MarkVI, MarkVie Systems in Factory floor
- Perform MarkVi HMI testing using Toolbox/Cimplicity licenses
- Use BN Signal Simulators and CS ADR Simulators for testing of system
- Perform Panels Inspection against set of requirements established by GE
- Supervise test technicians assigned for the job and increase efficiency of the resources
- Stage BN Systems and MarkVie Systems on Factory floor in preparation to Testing
- Support Manufacturing Engineer with Panel assembly as and when required
- Foster a thriving culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Ensure all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality-focused, & compliant manner
- Ensure sufficient testing capacity exists to achieve all customer commitments
- Identify opportunities to drive process and operations excellence via standardization, simplification and automation
- Be responsible for reviewing and maintaining department expense budgets and for explanations for all variances
- Strive to keep all variances related to achieving business objectives, monitoring increases and decreases in production demand
- Ensure plant policies and procedures are followed
- Be part of the team to achieve excellence in HSE, customer service, quality, fulfillment, inventory management, and productivity Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Diploma from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing Control Panels from various vendors, preferably GE system
- Strong controller ship mindset
- Experience of working in a global business environment with sound understanding of process and control

Desired Characteristics:

- Proven ability to deliver results by prioritizing, planning, and executing in a team environment
- Experienced with test equipment and testing procedures for BN 3500 and MarkVie control equipment
- Familiarity with ESD procedures and basic electrical safety practices
- Ability to work independently
- Good team player with flexible approach
- Proven track record of delivery in a challenging role
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work and communicate in a well-organized and structured manner
- Ability to work independently in a self-directed team environment and effectively perform under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate several projects and priorities simultaneously
