Job description / Role
We are looking for a Marine Manager for Borr Drilling Ltd.
The Marine Manager will be responsible for ensuring marine compliance amongst Borr Drilling's fleet and provide guidance and support to all marine operation activities. This position will be based in Dubai, reporting to our Vice President Asset Integrity.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for regional jack-up marine activities to ensure quality and consistency
• Review jack-up marine operations, capture lessons learned, and promote continuous improvement
• Collaborate with appropriate personnel to set marine policies and produce company standards and procedures
• Manage regional marine regulatory compliance and regional marine support functions
• Marine integrity assurance for the company's jack-up fleet
Requirements
• Marine related degree with extensive experience as Master, Chief Engineer, OIM, Barge Engineer or;
• High School diploma with experience in rig based marine and drilling operations, having served several years in a Marine supervisory role
• Extensive experience directing rig move operations
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) with the ability to work with internal onshore teams and offshore personnel
• Willingness to travel
