Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently looking for an experienced candidate from the product research market who holds at least five years experience in a reputable Research Agency. This role will will be based within the Product Management Department and will report directly into the Head of Product Management.

The Market Intelligence Executive will be responsible for analysing the data which is collected by the Market Research Team. You will determine the research methods that are used by the team, the breadth of the research conducted and the estimated costs of the project. You will create business intelligence tools, including the design of related databases, spreadsheets and presentations.

You will collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports or purchased sources and through the collected information you will determine the buying trends of the given demographic, the success and failure of competitors and the effectiveness of advertising methods. You will be responsible for organising and presenting the collected data to upper management in order for them to make descisions based on the data.

Requirements

You will be a university graduate preferably in Marketing or Business Administration. Having in-depth experience within the Market Research industry you will have excellent knowledge of research techniques and will have proven project management skills.

You will have the ability to design questionnaires and conduct focus groups to assess overall product acceptance whilst simulataneously highlighting risks and opportunities in the market. You will be an analytical thinker with the ability to collect and analyse socioeconomic trends to determine the buying trends/patterns of the diversified sales channels and customer demographics, which define strategy that draw conclusions which are actionable, impactful and accessible for stakeholders.

This role requires you to present findings on a regular basis and it is therefore imperitive that you have excellent communication skills both in the English and Arabic languages. The role entails analytical and decision making capacity and you must be detail orientated with strong computer and research capabilities.
