Employment: Full Time

The Marketing and Events Manager will manage the day to day marketing activities of the organisation and the long term marketing strategy. The key performance areas of this role will be implementation, policies and procedures, best practice and risk management.

Our client is a fashion retailer specialising in leather footwear and accessories, with several stores, concessions and an on line presence.

Duties of the role will include:
- Idea generation and campaign strategy
- Implementation of activity plan including print, media, ATL and BTL
- Maintain strong partnerships with key media partners, stores, and external parties
- Competition and trend analysis with a keen eye for business acumen
- Become a brand expert in order to manage external contacts including other retailers and creative agencies
- Develop marketing presentations and pitches for internal and external use
- Communicate internally with other key people and departments including graphics, social media companies, visual merchandisers and sales teams
- Research into new technologies to drive customer engagement
- Work alongside the GM to establish and manage budgets
- Plan and manage events such as exhibitions and sponsorship to establish a public presence
- Travel within and outside of the UAE

Requirements

- Fluent in Arabic speaking, reading, writing
- Degree in Marketing/ Advertising or similar
- Minimum 5years + experience in any Marketing field of which 2 years should be at Management level
- Excellent communication skills
- High standard of English speaking, reading and writing is essential
- Embrace change and innovative ideas

- Deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information
- Flexible and able to travel across and outside of the UAE
