Marketing Capabilities and Communications Manager-Dubai

An established FMCG organisation based in the UAE is seeking a Marketing Capabilities & Communications Manager. This is a new role created by our client, we are looking for someone who can help build and futher develop the marketing capabilities of the teams world wide. This individual should have previous experience training and mentoring marketing professionals and have a strong understanding of brands and the importance of branding. You should have the ability to teach, influence and train a multi cultural team at all levels

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for executing the groups brand champion and brand foundation approach across markets.
* Develop and execute brand Communication frameworks for all of the groups brands.
* Train marketing teams Brand frameworks.
* Roll-out marketing best practices and guideline.
* Responsible for all intranet and internet marketing/brand related content management.
* Roll-out media and digital best practices internationally.
* Manage and coordinate external facing marketing content.
* Support idea and creative development of internal communication platforms for Marketing.
* Responsible for marketing team engagement forums.
* Support the Marketing Director in team skills development.
* Manages marketing community competitions to excite and engage.
* Support Marketing Director to develop marketing team competencies and skills framework for HR.

Requirements

* 8 -10 years' experience in Central Marketing Communication or Global Marketing Communication team in FMCG/ related industry
* Degree in Marketing Communications ideally an MBA or Masters in Marketing Communication from a reputable USA or UK university
* Extensive internal/external training experience.
* Good understanding of Brands and brand frameworks
* Has moderated team brand/communication workshops
* Has managed internal/external website content
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire individuals.
