Employment: Full Time

A commercially astute professional with experience as a management account required to take the role of a Marketing Controller.

This role sits in the heart of the global marketing team as a Marketing Performance Manager who understands how to measure, monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing activities.

The role controls the global market spend including; media agencies, innovation and insight. Because of this, the role works very closely with the finance team, so excellent internal stakeholder management skills are essential.

Other key areas of responsibility are around the overall accountability for establishing, measuring and reporting processes for all global marketing activities.

You will define and establish KPIs and provide daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc performance reporting and analysis, providing insights and best practice support to the business and global marketing teams so that actions to improve can be implemented.

Requirements

This role requires a high level of commercial acumen with a strong finance background; candidates with a Masters in Finance will be preferred.

The business is a leading player in the F&B market in the Middle East, with a number of household brands in its portfolio. This business offers fantastic learning opportunities and an opportunity to work within an experienced and highly skilled marketing team.

- Degree level education, or equivalent, ideally an MBA or Masters in Finance
- A minimum of five years’ work experience
- A commercial background and appreciation of the complex network that a global Sales and Marketing team must work within in order to be successful
- Hands on experience as a business controller within the FMCG / F&B / Consumer goods industry
- Ability and experience in online analytics end-to-end: defining KPIs and tracking
- Experience in the use of CRM and finance systems such as Oracle, SAP or Salesforce
- Strong understanding of data and data sources
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across team boundaries to achieve results
- Fantastic English communications skills, Arabic would be advantageous, but not essential
- Candidates must currently be based in the UAE

Salary:
- A competitive salary, bonus and a benefits package is available for the right candidate
- The monthly guaranteed salary is a maximum of 35,000 AED
