Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Working with the Marketing Manager to execute the marketing strategies and campaigns for the coffee shop division to achieve key annual business objectives and plans.

Coordinating the key campaigns, which includes briefing agency, developing marketing materials, executing and activating the campaigns that are both ATL (above the Line) and BTL (below the line) for the purpose of increasing brand awareness and generating revenue. This person will be responsible for ensuring a consistent execution of each campaign in all +120 stores and ensuring that all stores are fully briefed to execute each campaign perfectly.

Marketing Executive will be responsible for supporting the Marketing manager in defining the Marketing plan for Costa Express, they will also be required to manage and execute all new collateral associated with Costa Express and to ultimately support in building the Costa Express brand in the UAE.

Marketing Executive will be involved in all aspects of advertising, social media, public relations, event management, community engagement, Sponsorship, media relations, partner engagement, publication development, internal communications, media buying and marketing research.

Supporting the Marketing Manager in the execution and Launch of all New Food and Drink products and the promotion of these products.

Marketing Campaigns:
- Implement marketing strategies, objectives and tactics which proactively support the achievement of annual and longer term business objectives, working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager
- Work closely with Operations Managers to support and coordinate the development of Local Store marketing campaigns and new store opening programs from concept through to implementation, and ensuring follow up analysis is communicated
- Drive footfall to stores through the varying activations

Ensure marketing campaigns support the vision for the brand by;
- Significantly improve consumers engagement
- Drive awareness, sales and engagement through the impact of marketing activities
- Provide outstanding impact with well executed campaigns and collateral
- Champion the collation of consumer research to drive changes to the brand proposition
- Develop a network of media contacts to drive press activity for each campaign

Promotions and New Product launches
- Managing and executing marketing activities associated with Promotions and New Product Launches, including:
- Conducting in house consumer research to determine consumer reaction to potential new products
- Briefing in artwork requirements with design agencies for various activities.
- Determining marketing material production specifications, and overseeing all production is up to standard
- Marketing of ongoing promotional activities and campaigns to generate awareness and increase sales
- Developing and communication of Store briefs to ensure perfect execution
- Evaluating marketing campaign results based on set targets

Digital Marketing & Loyalty Programme
- Supporting the launch of a new Website and ongoing update of content to ensure it is up to date and in line with offline activities
- Ensure that the Social Media strategy is being achieved and objectives being delivered
- Oversee and monitor social media agency
- Management of Social Media Content ensuring that Online is consistent with Offline activities
- Monitor competitor activity and evaluating insights & analysis
- Advise on best practice for Social media to ensure Costa is always ahead of the Market with online activity
- Supporting launch and management of Costa Loyalty programme

Events & Sponsorship
- Play an active role in the implementation of the brand and marketing activities during events, which includes being present at the event to ensure successful brand representation
- Working with the Events Team to ensure all events are supported with proactive marketing campaigns to create awareness within customer base and local media
- Provide support in the planning, execution and logistics of all major events
- Support in all sponsorship activities and events. Execution of Marketing collaterals to ensure the brand is well represented at each event / activity in line with sponsorship agreement

Administrative
- Management of project-set budgets ensuring that all marketing spend within a project scope is in line with pre agreed budget
- Maintaining up to date records of Marketing Purchase Orders and Invoices

Requirements

- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) preferably in Marketing or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years marketing experience, preferably within the Leisure/F&B or retail sectors in the UAE
- Understanding of marketing strategies, methodologies and processes, with a proven track record of developing and delivering creative solutions which have directly contributed to the achievement of improved business performance.
- Social media experience and ability to demonstrate experience in this field
- To build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on delivery to project teams, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments

- Experience working with suppliers (agencies, printers etc)

- Previous work experience in marketing related role
- Experience briefing agencies on the development of artwork concepts and collateral production
