Job description / Role
The overall role responsibility of the Marketing officer is to execute the event initiatives in support of long term business strategy as well as to help the team, to achieve the overall objective of the business.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Events to work with internal customers and external stakeholders to receive briefs on various projects and launches
- Recommend event lead activities that can contribute to the growth of business
- To support all strategic projects efficiently and with precision within timelines
- Work closely with creative media agencies, from writing briefs to supervision of the final execution of projects and media releases/positions
- Lead projects and make sure they are executed and implemented in time
- Track, control , assist and optimise the year round event participation needs of the group by working closely with business to bring out the best possible results
- To own and update the website both in English and Arabic and delete outdated information on an ongoing basis only for event related content
- To update and amend collateral as and when suitable and needed
- In a timely and correct manner make sure both the status report and the overall budget is closely monitored and update accordingly
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Finance/marketing or equivalent
- Postgraduate degree/Diploma in marketing/Finance/Management Certification or Degree or Diploma from reputed banking institutes
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience within a corporate environment.
- A proven, demonstrated track record of success across a range of events.
