Job Purpose:
- Responsible to strategic marketing/sales/operations/special programs and to direct the activities of the auto sales division to ensure achievement of respective sales targets and business plans.
- Responsible to provide leadership and coordination of company Marketing and Sales functions.
- Development & implementation of Marketing and Sales strategies, objectives and plans.
- Maintain, manage, develop and motivate sales force and other personnel capabilities to deliver the sales growth and market expansion to achieve targets.
- Manage, monitor and analyse Marketing and Sales activities against set goals.
- Direct and coordinate company marketing and sales functions through development of strategy, tactics, marketing plans, sales plans and profit targets.
- Deliver sales by developing relationships with external as well as internal customers by identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.
- Act as an ambassador and role model for Ceramics taking responsibility for profit and loss by increasing market share in existing markets and maximize new business development opportunities.
- Responsible to achieve targets for revenue, profitability, sales growth and ROI.
- Direct and oversee the company’s marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
- Supervise research and develop strategies and plans that will identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing activities, and new projects development.
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Develop and manage Marketing and Sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
- Enhance the reputation and relationship of the company with key corporate clients / accounts in order to further the division’s business interests.
- Doing the maximum to turn sales leads and opportunities to sales deals.

Key Accountabilities

Marketing
- Breaks down and cascades objectives, plans and targets formulated by the Executive Management of the Company down to each departmental and operational levels.
- Consolidates the agreed strategy of each area, zone, and sector; to allocate resources required for achievement of the same.
- Drive the development and implementation of marketing strategy, market studies, determine trends, consumer demands / preferences, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales.
- Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the Company.
- Analyses marketing potential of new and existing geographical dealers locations, respective sales statistics, and expenditures to formulate decisions
- Analyses customer satisfaction reports emanating from the customer care function and directs improvements to customer service / care as many as required.
- Confers and consults with department heads within the company and also cross the Group if required to plan advertising services and promotional policies, campaigns, offers and schemes.
- Ensures that the stock position of the different products is adequate to cater to the sales target in the sales period.
- Ensures that the Marketing & Sales department is staffed with commercially competent, efficient, dedicated and motivated personnel as well as provides optimum utilisation of capabilities. This includes selection of competent personnel, training, development, evaluation, authority and careful allocation of work.
- Plan and coordinate public awareness, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.

Sales:
- Breaks down and cascades objectives, plans and targets formulated by the Executive Management of the Company down to each departmental and operational levels.
- Consolidates the agreed strategy of each area, zone, and sector; to allocate resources required for achievement of the same.
- Plan, guide, supervise and monitor Sales Team in exploring new markets and exploit existing networks in current markets.
- Make accurate sales forecasts & manage pipelines based on regional market audits conducted by the team.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for all sales team members and monitor performance with a strong follow-up reporting system.
- Balance dividing targets depending on strong analysis of areas, regional, international markets.
- Convert pipelines opportunities into real orders by understanding the customer needs, competitor’s edge and to customize sales approach accordingly.
- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate with the management on all other accounts.
- Closely interact with the R&D Dept. for all new products developments based on market trends locally, regionally and across the globe.

General M&S Management:
- Continuously arrange visits to all clients across the country, region and across the globe. To listen to their needs, get professional feedback on the performance of the M&S teams and analyze how the company could build and improve long relationship with the dealers.
- Keeps direct links with all customers to insure direct and fast feedbacks when and where required.
- Ability to sources and develop a competent staff for the M&S Department which will do a strong positive difference in the performance on the field.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures to enhance operational performance
- Contributes to the performance progress and performance appraisal process and ensures that individual and collective performance standards and KPIs are reached within the Department.
- Identifies development needs and technical training within the Department and ensures that staff receives appropriate training on an ongoing basis in coordination with relevant departments.
- Sets out specific performance standards in such key areas as retailers sales (showrooms), whole sales, dealers sales, and evaluate performance against these standards; coaches and assists the counter parties in improving their performance.
- Set departmental budgets and ensure the cost of operations in the department is kept within the sanctioned expenditure of the approved budget.
- Set, track, rectify, and follow up adhering to budgets, and propose fair justification for needed deviations, and or recommend and control solutions to overcome unaccepted or expected deviations, and provide with reports stand for.
- Ensures that subordinates have the required knowledge, skills, competencies and experience in order to reach the Department's objectives.
- Formulating broad guidelines for public relations, group culture, corporate image and reputation.
- Contribute, follow up, persuade, accomplish, and / or ensure fulfilment of annual KPI's desired by the respective area and by the Department in all.

Requirements

- Post Graduate Degree in Marketing or Business Management
- Masters Degree in Marketing would be a plus.
- Professional certifications in Marketing and Sales from recognized entities.
- 7-10 years of experience in managing a multicultural team.
- Experience in Marketing, Sales systems and management.
- Experienced in CRM systems will be an advantage
- Business analysis experience (including implementation, tracking, problem resolution and reporting).
- Experience working with Finance systems would be a strong advantage.
- A successful track record of working with managers and executives at high levels in the organization, as well as multi-cultural staff.
