Job description / Role
We are looking for a Mater Technician to ensure necessary repairs are carried out as per the standard specification, ensuring minimum downtime and resolution defects resulting in customer satisfaction. The technician will analyze all repairs and maintenance of all Volvo Trucks and Buses i.e.FH12, FH, FL, FM, B12B, B9R, B7R etc., Shall be responsible for the following duties:
- Correct first time repair of Trucks and Buses and finding or gaining new prospects and inquiries through workshop activity.
- Ensure that electrical repairs are carried out in accordance with best practice and carry out Air conditioning repairs.
- Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of electrical components and detailed wiring diagrams.
- Maintaining Service & Repair records & to be quite familiar with appropriate use of workshop equipment and special tools i.e. Volvo Tech Tool, Impact and Volvo Truck Portal.
Requirements
- Three years post certificate experience or alternatively an electrical apprenticeship.
- Minimum five years of technical experience within Volvo Commercial / Heavy Duty.
