Job description / Role
Our client is a leading European engineering consultancy who have recently been awarded a major contract by the RTA for the maintenance, repair or new construction of road/permanent and temporary works, footpaths, kerbs, railings, bollards, fences and all other items related to paved surfaces and road furniture.
They are currently looking to recruit a materials engineer to oversee the quality controls of the project and to ensure that all materials meet the RTA guidelines.
Requirements
Candidates must have degree in civil engineering or a related fields and should be a member of a recognised UAE or international institute.
Candidates must have around 10 years experience as materials engineer on road construction and maintenance contracts and should have UAE experience with the RTA.
Candidates should have experience of asphalt, gravel roads, sand filling and compaction and all other materials related to paved surfaces and road furniture.
