Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Client is a leading European construction company specialising in the construction of heavy civils and marine works for the oil and gas industry and are currently looking to recruit a Materials Manager to be based at Ras Al Khaimah.

The role will involve:
- Providing technical support to projects in relation to construction materials.
- Advise and propose viable alternative construction materials/work methods.
- Raise punch lists for incomplete or defective work relating to materials.
- Responsible for supervising warehouses and ensuring safe practices are followed.
- Review and monitor physical inventor materials.
- Provide various inventory related reports to management.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree , preferably in mechanical engineering and should have a proven background in materials management with in the oilfield/oil and gas industry.

Candidates should be able to carry out risk assessments for material and should have experience of using MARIAN software.
